We were delighted to welcome the wonderful Louise Windsor to guide our April SYA yoga session. With warmth and deep expertise, Louise introduced us to the roots of Chinese Medicine and its connection to the Spring season. Through thoughtful explanations of the Liver, Gall Bladder, and Kidney meridians, we explored how the energy of emerging from Winter can be supported in body and mind.
The session was excellently balanced with both Yin and a touch of Yang yoga, helping us to awaken the dualities within and align with the rising energy of the season. A real highlight was Louise’s gentle guidance through massage points along the meridian lines, which brought a deeper sense of awareness and release as we moved through each asana.
Delivered at a steady and engaging pace, Louise created an inviting space for reflection and connection. The session was brought to a heart-centred close with a perfectly placed reading from Verse 26 of the Radiance Sutras, leaving us all feeling nourished, grounded, and inspired.
Thank you, Louise, for such a thoughtful and enriching session – we thoroughly enjoyed every moment!
